Epic Games Teases Halloween-Themed Event in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Epic Games has released a cryptic tweet that hints at a possible Halloween-themed event in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Yesterday, a teaser image for an event called Fortnitemares was posted at 9am CT. And now, exactly 24 hours later, Epic has tweeted another mysterious picture. The image shows a small piece of the purple cube with one of the strange rune symbols, chained up for unknown reasons.
Both cryptic tweets include a short poem accompanying the teaser image. Epic stated, “Tombstones quake, keep your finger steady. The circle will close, better be ready.”
These poems don’t provide much information about what Fortnitemares is. Most fans speculate that it will be the name of an in-game event, while others believe it could be a Halloween-themed limited-time mode.
