Fortnite Introduces “Classic” Limited Time Mode with Older Weapons and Items
Epic Games has recently introduced a new Limited Time Mode (LTM) titled “Classic” in Fortnite. However, the game mode was quickly renamed to “Unvaulted.” Despite the name change, Epic Games confirmed that there is no difference between the two LTMs.
The theme of the Unvaulted LTM is to provide players with a limited selection of weapons and items, including those that were previously removed from the game.
The Evolution of Vaulted Weapons in Fortnite
Throughout the seven seasons of Fortnite, numerous weapons and items have been “vaulted,” which means they have been temporarily or permanently retired. While most of these vaulted items remain out of the game, there have been instances, like the Guided Missile Launcher, where a weapon has returned after adjustments made by the developers.
The Unvaulted LTM brings back a select number of these vaulted weapons and items, while also significantly limiting the use of current weapons. Here are all the vaulted weapons and items available in Unvaulted.
