Final Fantasy XIV Online Collaboration with Secretlab: A Celebration of Gaming
The Final Fantasy XIV Online partnership with Secretlab is now available for pre-order as a special version of the TITAN Evo gaming chair, priced at $624 and delivering on June 20. It was developed to commemorate both the 10-year anniversary of A Realm Reborn and the upcoming Dawntrail expansion.
Unfortunately for players, these special chairs don’t come with any FFXIV in-game rewards like the recent Mountain Dew event, so they’re more of a real-life collector’s item rather than something you can buy for exclusive in-game items. Still, they look great, with three magnetic role patches that can be swapped in and out of the chair and an embroidered representation of the Crystal Tower on the back.
The Incredible Lumbar Pillows: Alpha and Fat Cat
While the chair is excellent, the true standouts are the two lumbar cushions that come with it. One shows the cutest Chocobo, Alpha, in various stances while wearing a little helmet and goggles, ready for adventure. The other features the comical Fat Cat minion chilling in a variety of entertaining stances. Each pillow costs $59 and will ship on June 20, along with the new chairs.
Looking ahead: The Dawntrail Expansion
None of the items are related to the planned expansion, Dawntrail. If you are looking for some rare products, check out the Dawntrail Collector’s Edition, which includes an artbook, a special figure, and an FFXIV cloth map, among other minor stuff.
FFXIV: Dawntrail is available in early access on June 28 for players who pre-order any edition on any platform, or on July 2 for those who choose to wait a few days before purchasing. Secretlab’s special chairs, however, are already on sale.
