Samurai Jack, Aquaman, and Other Characters Discovered in MultiVersus Day-One Datamine

Exciting New Content Discovered in MultiVersus

With the recent big relaunch of MultiVersus, players can expect a variety of new and exciting content. Data mining efforts have revealed a treasure trove of files that provide glimpses into what new characters, stages, and more may be coming to the game.

One major highlight of the datamined files is the inclusion of new characters. Fans have long speculated and desired certain fighters, and it seems that their wishes may soon come true. Characters like Samurai Jack, who has been repeatedly mentioned in previous datamines, finally makes an appearance in the new version that was launched on May 28. This exciting discovery has been shared by enthusiastic community members such as Ausil and MultiverSusie.

Furthermore, avid data miners have managed to uncover unused voice lines for characters like Samurai Jack, as well as the beloved Powerpuff Girls. Some exciting leaks even hint at the presence of Aquaman, who also has voice lines, confirming the accuracy of the tease featured in MultiVersus’ release trailer.

Digging deeper into the data, it seems that popular characters like Daffy Duck and Mr. Meeseeks from Rick and Morty may also join the roster. Updated file listings and animations provide hopeful speculations regarding their potential inclusion. Additionally, fans of the RWBY series can anticipate a representative from the universe, as the series has been directly mentioned in the data.

Apart from new characters, players will also be treated to a range of exciting new stages. The datamined files hint at stages inspired by various franchises, including Teen Titans, Warner Bros. Water Tower, Adventure Time’s Candy Kingdom, Pinky and the Brain, and even the iconic lake from Friday the 13th. Although most of these stages lack assets at the moment, their possible inclusion promises an immersive and diverse gameplay experience.

Of course, cosmetics play a significant role in MultiVersus, and the datamine didn’t disappoint in that aspect. Players can anticipate a variety of unreleased skins for different characters, including leaked ones. Notable skin inclusions consist of DC Bombshell Wonder Woman, Anti-Life Superman, Knights Must Fall Bugs Bunny, Animated Series Joker, Black Suit Superman, and Hoodie LeBron James (not to be confused with Hoodie Melo).

In addition to the exciting character and stage reveals, dataminers have also discovered hints about upcoming events. One such event is a Shark Week crossover, where characters can obtain Shark Hat skins. Aquaman’s involvement in this event suggests that the hero might be released in July, coinciding with the start of Shark Week 2024 on July 7.
