Prototype in the Sky is a side mission in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC where you have to make a choice that determines the fate of Hasan Demir, a man with valuable tech implanted in his skull. To start the mission, head to the construction site in Longshore Stacks, which is where the prototype tech is located. Look for a break in the fence to enter the site.
Once inside, you can choose to sneak around or engage in combat. Going stealthy is difficult and time-consuming, so it’s easier to start shooting. Hack turrets if you have tech abilities to gain an advantage.
Be cautious of netrunners, as they can disrupt your progress. Take them out first if you come across them.
In one of the rooms, you’ll find a computer with a code that you’ll need later. Take note of the code for the jail cell.
Continue through the scav base until you reach a jail cell where Hasan is held captive. Talk to him and learn about the tech in his head.
Follow Hasan through the building until you find the schematics for the tech. Hasan will share the scav bridge route for a quick escape.
At this point, you can choose to let Hasan go free or give him back to Zetatech. Calling Mr. Hands, your fixer, is advisable to explain the situation to him.
If you let Hasan go, you’ll have to deliver the schematics to a drop point. The rewards for completing the mission will be the same regardless of your choice.
Letting Hasan go free is the best moral and practical choice. You’ll have the opportunity to acquire an Iconic tech pistol, Ambition, later in the game.
After some in-game time, you’ll receive a message from Mr. Hands and begin the Go Your Own Way quest. Hasan will gift you the Ambition tech pistol, which has powerful stats and the ability to blind targets.
