To start the Sweet Dreams job, simply walk past Stefan, a virtu salesman located at a market corner in Westbrook. He will flag you down and initiate the job. You’ll need to purchase Stefan’s BD for the job, which costs 25,000 eddies.
How to Play Stefan’s BD in Sweet Dreams
Playing Stefan’s BD can be confusing since there’s no set mechanic for playing BDs in Cyberpunk. In Sweet Dreams, go to Inventory > All Items and find the item named Unlabeled Braindance, which has a recording icon. Activate Unlabeled Braindance to “play” Stefan’s BD. However, the BD is actually corrupted, so you’ll need to speak with Stefan again.
Should You Pay Stefan to Borrow His Wreath?
If you pay to borrow Stefan’s wreath to play the BD, you will be kidnapped and wake up in a Scav den. However, you can fight your way out and confront Stefan to get your money back. If you don’t want to pay, you can refuse and get your money back on the spot, avoiding the whole Scav Den situation.
How to Escape the Scav Den and Get Your Money Back
If you borrowed Stefan’s BD and ended up in the Scav den, you’ll need to fight your way through the Scavs. Once you’ve escaped, retrieve your stolen gear from a labeled locker. Afterwards, confront Stefan near the den to get your eddies back. The choice of killing or sparing Stefan is up to you, with no significant impact on the ending or rewards.
