The Best Choice for Only Pain in Cyberpunk 2077
Only Pain begins in a dark alley near Corpo Plaza in Heywood. Nigel, a resident of Corpo Plaza, is in trouble with the NCPD and is being beaten when you come across him. If you intervene or ask what’s happening, the police will rudely tell you to leave.
If you choose to walk away, you won’t receive any rewards. However, it’s a roleplaying choice that makes sense for a Streetkid or Nomad character who wouldn’t want to confront the police for a Corpo’s sake.
If you decide to fight the cops, the quest continues. They aren’t particularly difficult opponents, especially if you have the Sandevistan. Defeating them won’t give you a wanted level. After dealing with the threat, you can wake up Nigel and decide what to do with him.
Nigel will thank you and ask what you want in return. You can choose the default option of not wanting anything, or if your character is less altruistic, you can demand the reason behind the attack by investing points in the Reflexes attribute. Alternatively, if you have high Cool attribute points, you can threaten Nigel and demand a sum of around 2000 Eurodollars. These options aren’t mutually exclusive.
If your character has enough Body attribute points, you can shake Nigel down for even more money, gaining an additional 4500 Eurodollars. Not a bad reward for a few minutes of your time.
