Guide: Resolving the Path of Glory bug in Cyberpunk 2077

Fixing the Path of Glory Bug in Cyberpunk 2077

The Path of Glory bug in Cyberpunk 2077 is still a major issue. This glitch specifically affects the Path of Glory epilogue mission in the base game. Although it may seem minor since it only impacts players who choose that ending, it is a significant problem. This bug traps players in an infinite death loop.

The problematic sequence is part of the secret ending, which requires significant effort and completion without dying. It’s unfortunate that such a crucial, combat-free part of the game has this bug, affecting achievement hunters and experienced players. Fortunately, there is a consistent workaround for this issue.

How to Get Past the Path of Glory Bug in Cyberpunk 2077

Once you’ve completed Nocturne Op55N1, (Don’t Fear) The Reaper, and Changes, and you’re at the part where Delamain wants you to enter the AV, there is a common stumbling point. V mysteriously flatlines as soon as they get onboard.

To fix this bug, choose the “Hang On” option when given the dialogue choice at the door of the AV. Open your map and then close it. For some reason, this prevents V from dying unexpectedly and allows players to complete the epilogue quest as intended.

Other Bugs in the Path of Glory Mission

In addition to the main bug mentioned, there is another bug that occasionally causes problems. If you’ve looted the endgame mansion before progressing to the secret ending, the “Take your jacket” step can glitch, preventing you from reaching the AV part. On PC, you can manually give yourself the jacket using the following console command in Cyber Engine Tweaker:

  • Game.AddToInventory(“Items.SQ031_Samurai_Jacket”,1)

Fortunately, these are the only known bugs in the Path of Glory mission. Once you’ve surpassed these points, the rest should be smooth sailing.
