It was only surpassed by VALORANT’s launch in terms of total viewership on its first day.
When VALORANT was released earlier this year, it achieved a peak viewership of 1.9 million, breaking records during its beta phase. The global COVID-19 pandemic also contributed to the surge in viewership on Twitch, as people turned to gaming as a form of entertainment.
