Cyberpunk 2077 Achieves Critical Acclaim, While Starfield Lacks Impressions
Famous streamer Asmongold recently compared two highly anticipated games, Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield, and came to a clear conclusion – Cyberpunk 2077 is superior in every way.
Cyberpunk 2077, despite its initial bugs, has received critical acclaim thanks to CD Projekt RED’s relentless efforts. On the other hand, Asmongold was unimpressed with Starfield and believes that no amount of patches or added content can save it.
According to Asmongold, there’s a difference between a buggy game and a bad game. He believes that you can’t polish a turd, suggesting that Starfield falls into the latter category.
While Cyberpunk 2077 had its issues at launch, Asmongold felt that its core was solid. However, he believes that Starfield’s problems run much deeper.
He pointed out two major issues with Starfield – repetitive content and a poorly designed map. These issues contradict the game’s promise of vastness and depth.
Other gamers seem to share Asmongold’s sentiments. Starfield went from positive early reviews to mixed reviews and eventually became Bethesda’s worst-rated title on Steam, which no one expected at launch.
Asmongold was so disappointed with Starfield that he considered abandoning single-player story-driven titles altogether. However, Cyberpunk 2077 reignited his passion for these types of games, praising its gritty and cinematic essence.
