Apex Legends Players Take On Cheaters in Season 20
Unfortunately, Apex Legends has faced extensive cheating issues in previous seasons. Despite the best efforts of the security team, cheaters have returned once again in season 20, causing frustration for both professional players and streamers.
Collaborative Effort to Combat Cheaters
A recent stream clip shared by Complexity Gaming’s Trenton “lou” Clements reveals a group of Apex Legends pro players, including his squad, coming together to combat a cheater. They all found refuge in the same Olympus building, recognizing that individually dealing with the cheater was ineffective. To coordinate their efforts, the pros joined a voice call. Even with their combined numbers, the cheater managed to evade their attacks using aimbot and wallhacks. Eventually, the cheater teleported to safety and intentionally crashed the server, affecting all the players involved.
