Fracture Disabled in VCT EMEA Last Chance Qualifier

Fracture Map Disabled in VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA Last Chance Qualifier

The upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA Last Chance Qualifier will not feature the latest map, Fracture, according to an announcement by Riot Games.

Teams Competing for Spot in VCT Champions

The EMEA Last Chance Qualifier provides eight teams with another chance to secure a spot in the VCT Champions tournament in December. While seven teams have earned their spots through EMEA Circuit points, including notable names like Guild Esports, Team Liquid, and G2 Esports, Anubis Gaming earned their spot by winning the Strike Arabia Championship: Finals. Only one team will secure a spot in Champions, while the remaining teams will watch from the sidelines.

Focus on Existing Map Pool

Fracture, the latest map in VALORANT, will not be featured in the LCQ event to avoid any issues as teams haven’t had enough time to learn and adapt to the new environment. This decision allows teams to concentrate on the existing map pool.

It is currently unclear whether Fracture will be disabled in the LCQ events for other regions, including North America, Asia, and South America.
