Revenant Esports Welcomes New Addition to BGMI eSports Lineup
Revenant Esports, one of India’s leading eSports organizations, is thrilled to announce the newest addition to its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) eSports lineup. Ashutosh ‘Punkk’ Singh, a talented 21-year-old player from Chirawa, Rajasthan, will be joining the team just in time for the highly anticipated BGMI India Series (BGIS). This prestigious tournament boasts a prize pool of INR2,00,00,000.
At Revenant Esports, Punkk is set to reunite with his longtime former teammates, ‘Sensei’ and ‘Fierce’. With an impressive two-year history of playing together from 2020 to 2022, Punkk already possesses a deep understanding of the team’s playstyle. Furthermore, he brings valuable experience from his recent affiliations with Reckoning Esports and Velocity Gaming.
Having played alongside Sensei, who currently serves as the In-Game Leader (IGL) for Revenant Esports, Punkk will effortlessly assimilate into the team dynamics. His reunion with former teammates will undoubtedly strengthen the team’s bond, especially as they head into the crucial phase of The Grind in the BGMI India Series.
As a former IGL himself, Punkk’s strategic expertise will complement Sensei’s leadership, particularly in critical in-game situations. Moreover, Punkk’s aggressive playstyle and renowned gun-power will significantly contribute to the team’s success in securing finishes, which hold tremendous importance considering the new points system implemented in BGMI Esports.
Reflecting on his reunion with his old friends and joining Revenant Esports, Punkk expressed his excitement by stating, “I am very excited to be a part of Revenant Esports and reunite with my old friends, ‘Sensei’ and ‘Fierce’. Revenant Esports’ BGMI eSports lineup has established itself as one of the most formidable teams in the country. The team’s notable achievements include finishing second in the Skyesports Championship 5.0, as well as securing a respectable fifth-place finish at the India-Korea Invitational held in Delhi. However, the elusive trophy still remains out of their grasp. With the addition of Punkk to the lineup, the team hopes to change their fortunes.
