LEON Masters #1 Dota 2 Tournament: A Thrilling Online Event
LEON is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever Dota 2 esports tournament, the LEON Masters #1. In partnership with GAM3RS_X, this exciting event is set to kick off on June 10, 2024, and will run until July 28, 2024. The tournament will showcase top teams from Europe and CIS, competing for a remarkable prize pool of $100,000.
The Three Main Phases of LEON Masters #1
Group Stage #1 (June 10 – June 23, 2024): The tournament will begin with 16 teams divided into two groups of 6 teams each. All matches will be played in a Best of 2 format. The group winners will secure a spot in the semifinals, while teams placed 2nd to 5th will move on to the next group stage, and the bottom teams will be eliminated.
Group Stage #2 (July 15 – July 24, 2024): Following Group Stage #1, teams will be reshuffled into two new groups of 6 teams each. Matches will continue in a Best of 2 format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.
Playoffs (July 26 – July 28, 2024): The final stage of LEON Masters #1 will feature a single-elimination bracket, with all matches played in a Best of 3 format.
Prize Pool Distribution
The prize pool distribution for LEON Masters #1 is as follows:
- 1st place: $50,000
- 2nd place: $25,000
- 3rd-4th place: $12,500 each
