Historic Collaboration between ESIC and IOC to Combat Corruption in Esports

Esports industry has witnessed a significant milestone with the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) coming together to announce a historic collaboration. This collaboration aims to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices for combating esports corruption and misconduct.

The International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Movement Unit for the Prevention of Competition Manipulation (OM Unit PMC) is well-known for its commitment to preventing sports corruption. Through this agreement, the IOC will work closely with ESIC, a worldwide industry association known for setting high standards for esports integrity, on a variety of crucial issues.

The primary goal of this partnership is to share insights and information about esports integrity, as well as develop and implement methods and programs to improve esports integrity. ESIC will also act as a specialist advisory body to the IOC and OM Unit PMC, providing recommendations on esports-related issues.
