Bahrain International Trophy Sees Record Number of Broadcasters

The upcoming Bahrain International Trophy, set to take place on November 17th, will be televised by an impressive 22 broadcasters. This is the highest number of broadcasters ever to cover the event, highlighting its significance in the region.

Strongest Field Yet

This year’s race boasts a strong lineup, with a total of fourteen horses competing, including winners of Group 1 and Group 2 races. The field includes horses from France, Great Britain, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, as well as locally trained runners. The highly anticipated race will have a start time of 3:05 pm local time (12:05 pm GMT) and offers an increased prize fund of US$1 million.

Global TV Coverage

The TV coverage for the Bahrain International Trophy is being handled by Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and HBA Media in collaboration with the Bahrain Turf Club. The race will be broadcasted on various sports networks worldwide. Some of the notable broadcasters include Fox Sports in the US, ESPN/Star+ in Latin America and the Caribbean, and Fancode and Transvision in India and Indonesia, respectively. Reuters news agency will also provide coverage of the race, ensuring it reaches news outlets globally.

Yusuf Buheji, CEO of the Bahrain Turf Club, expressed his anticipation for the race, acknowledging the significant exposure it will receive from such a wide range of broadcasters. The event will also have a one-hour live world feed program co-produced by RMG and Timeline TV, which will air in 112 countries. This collaboration reflects the growing popularity and appeal of Bahrain racing on an international scale.
