Vici Gaming’s Offlaner Yang and Coach rOtK to Depart Dota 2 Roster

Vici Gaming’s offlaner Yang and coach rOtK have decided to leave the team’s Dota 2 roster as their contracts expire, the organization announced today.

Both Yang and rOtK are not retiring or taking a break from the professional scene, but are instead looking for new opportunities elsewhere.

Yang and rOtK Possibly Joining New Superteam

Rumors within the Chinese Dota 2 scene suggest that Yang and rOtK may be joining a new superteam recruited by Four Angry Men (4AM), which currently only has a roster in PUBG. It is rumored that 4AM is targeting stars Somnus and fy from PSG.LGD, as well as Fade, the captain of Aster.

ROtK’s Legacy at VG

rOtK has been a crucial part of Vici Gaming’s legacy. He was a player for the organization’s highest finish at The International 4. Yang’s Promising Offlaner Career

Yang started his professional career with VG’s Potential roster and went on to play for different iterations of the team’s affiliates. His successful year-long campaign with VGJ.Thunder catapulted him into the spotlight as one of China’s most promising offlaners. In 2018, both Yang and rOtK were promoted to Vici Gaming’s main roster. They became key players in the dominant Chinese squad that was considered one of the best teams in the world.
