Virtus Pro and EHOME Advance in The Chongqing Major

The Chongqing Major: Virtus Pro Takes Early Lead in Group A

The opening series of The Chongqing Major showcased a thrilling battle between the two most recent Dota Pro Circuit event winners. Virtus Pro, winners of The Kuala Lumpur Major, and EHOME, victors of The Bucharest Minor, dominated Group A alongside TNC Predator and Chaos Esports Club. Their matchup kicked off the event with an intense competition.

In game one, EHOME showed their strength, shutting down Virtus Pro and securing a quick 27-minute victory. Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida’s exceptional play and record-breaking performance played a significant role in EHOME’s success.

However, EHOME was unable to maintain their momentum in game two. Virtus Pro controlled the map and strategically chose their battles, leading to a 23-minute victory and tying up the series.

The third game was a showdown between the dominant performances of both teams. EHOME aimed to control the map, while Virtus Pro looked to initiate conflict. VP’s aggressive strategy caught EHOME off guard, and despite EHOME’s late-game efforts, Virtus Pro emerged victorious with a 2-1 series win.
