Vici Gaming dominates Evil Geniuses at the DreamLeague Season 13 Major

Vici Gaming Defeats Evil Geniuses at DreamLeague Season 13 Dota 2 Major

Vici Gaming displayed tight and patient gameplay against Evil Geniuses in the upper bracket of the DreamLeague Season 13 Dota 2 Major. Despite a strong performance from EG, Vici’s draft countered them effectively. In game two, Vici controlled the pace and dominated teamfights.

With heroes like Magnus and Tiny, Vici took an early lead by neutralizing EG’s players. Forced to roam together, EG’s teamfight potential was limited. Vici’s Outworld Devourer capitalized on this and secured a decisive victory.

EG recognized their shortcomings in game one and drafted for more teamfight potential in game two. However, picking both Arc Warden and Slark led to an odd fit for Abed. While EG initially kept up with Vici, the Chinese team isolated kills and allowed their Drow Ranger to build up for the late game.

Though EG put up a good final hold, Ori’s Kunkka dominated the teamfights and refused to go down. Eventually, EG conceded after 43 minutes.

Vici Gaming will now face the winner of Team Secret and Alliance in the winners side of the grand finals. EG will play the winner of beastcoast vs. Invictus Gaming in the lower bracket.
