Valve Unveils The Group Stage Lineups for The International 10

The International 10: Valve Reveals Group Stage Lineups

Just one day before The International 10 begins with the group stage, Valve has officially unveiled the team lineups for both groups. These lineups will divide the 18 teams into brackets and compete for the opportunity to advance to the main stage.

Starting from October 7th to October 10th, each group will consist of nine teams participating in a full round-robin bracket. This means that each team will play two games against every other team in their group.

After all the matches are concluded, the top four teams from each group will advance directly to the winner’s bracket of the main event. The next four teams will also move forward but will be one loss away from elimination, starting the main event in the loser’s bracket.

The bottom-placed team from each group will be eliminated from the event prior to the main event.

Fortunately, Valve and PGL have worked closely with teams that were affected by COVID-19 while preparing for The International in Bucharest. This collaboration allowed players who tested positive to compete from their isolation rooms. The tournament organizer has ensured that every player has the necessary equipment to compete, even if they need to self-quarantine.

With these details in mind, let’s take a look at the lineup of teams participating in the TI10 group stage:

Group A

  • Alliance
  • Team Aster
