Valve Performs Spring Cleaning in Dota 2 with a Minor Balance Update

Valve’s Spring Cleaning update for Dota 2 is here again, and this time it includes Patch 7.08 as well. The update focuses on improving the user interface, fixing bugs, and making changes to heroes and items.

One of the highlights of the update is the redesigned player profile, which now features a new layout. Users can showcase three heroes with their equipped cosmetics on a pedestal to the right of their profile. Additionally, the win-loss record for the player’s last ten matches is now displayed next to their most recent game summary.

Another new feature is the last-hit trainer, which is essential for all Dota 2 players, even support players. Players can find the last-hit trainer in the Learn tab of the main menu and can use it while queuing for games.

In an effort to improve communication between teammates, the language selection now plays a bigger role in public matchmaking. Toxic players who frequently receive reports for negative behavior may face six-month matchmaking bans.
