Valve Introduces Additional Fan-Made Skins to Dota 2 through Diretide 2022 Collector’s Cache II

Diretide 2022 Collector’s Cache II: More Fan-Made Skins for Dota 2

The latest release from Valve, the Diretide 2022 Collector’s Cache II, brings even more fan-made skins for Dota 2. These sets were based on the votes from the community, continuing the trend from the previous Collector’s Cache.

Valve stated, “The Dota 2 Workshop continues to showcase a wealth of talent that cannot be contained in just one Collector’s Cache. Therefore, this frosty Diretide season welcomes a second round of treasures to dress up your heroes.”

This new Collector’s Cache features skins for popular heroes such as Legion Commander, Silencer, Alchemist, Oracle, and many more. Additionally, it offers rare and ultra-rare skins for some heroes.

The cost for each Collector’s Cache II is $2.49 USD. Purchasing 14 caches grants players 36 battle levels, and the chances of receiving bonus rare items increase with each purchase.

Social media platforms are once again buzzing with mixed reviews from Dota 2 fans. Some are displeased, claiming that the popular skins they voted for were not included. Others believe that only the worst skins made it through the vote.

Despite the mixed reception, the addition of new skins and battle levels in Dota 2 is a positive development as the battle pass enters its final weeks.
