Tundra extends its entire Dota 2 roster through 2024

Tundra Esports Secures Long-Term Contracts with Dota 2 Roster

Tundra Esports has made a strong commitment to its Dota 2 team by signing all five players to long-term contracts through 2024. This move demonstrates the organization’s dedication to building a successful culture around the roster.

In the competitive world of Dota, contract details are often kept private. However, a three-year contract is a significant commitment and it may be the first time an entire roster has received such long-term contracts.

Tundra’s early success in their first season has propelled the organization to continue supporting this group.

Anthony Graham, co-founder of Tundra, expressed his confidence in the players, stating, “We’ve seen their potential and talent. Their ability to bounce back from setbacks aligns with Tundra’s drive to be the best esports organization. It was only natural to continue working with them.”

Tundra quickly established themselves as a formidable team in Europe. They narrowly missed out on qualifying for the first Major and remained in the upper division in season two of the DPC despite initial challenges.

After the WePlay AniMajor, Tundra aimed to secure a spot in The International 10 through the EU qualifiers. Despite facing tough competition from teams like Team Liquid and Team Nigma, Tundra came close to upsetting two-time defending champions OG and qualifying for Dota’s biggest stage.

Tundra continued to shine in various tournaments, winning ESL One Fall 2021 and securing a third-place finish at the OGA Dota PIT Invitational. These achievements further solidified the team’s potential.

Fata, one of Tundra’s players, expressed confidence in their ability to qualify for The International, stating, “With Tundra’s support, we can fully focus on training and reach new heights in the upcoming DPC season and beyond.”

This commitment extends to players 33, Nine, Skiter, and Sneyking, who have all signed on to represent Tundra in the next several DPC seasons and other events.
