Tundra Esports Outlast PSG.LGD to Claim Victory at ESL One Fall 2021

Tundra Esports Dominates ESL One Fall 2021 with Unbeatable Performance

Tundra Esports showcased their exceptional skills and proved their mettle in the esports world by winning Dota 2’s ESL One Fall 2021. This victory came as a remarkable accomplishment, as Tundra Esports didn’t drop a single series in the playoffs.

The European squad emerged as the sole representative from the region in the upper bracket of the playoffs. They outperformed Alliance and Team Liquid during the group stage, securing better records.

Tundra Esports continued their impressive streak in the main event, sweeping both beastcoast and Virtus.pro to secure a spot in the grand finals. Although Virtus.pro had been a favorite going into the event and had defeated Tundra Esports in the group stage with a 2-0 victory, Tundra Esports made a stunning comeback.

In the final series, Tundra faced off against PSG.LGD, who had been performing exceptionally well with coach xiao8 standing in for Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang. Despite PSG.LGD being considered the top team in the event, Tundra Esports endured a tough challenge but ultimately prevailed in the finals.

Tundra Esports dominated game one, securing a lead and never trailing after the five-minute mark. However, PSG.LGD fought back and won the next two games, taking a 2-1 lead. Despite the setback, Tundra Esports displayed exceptional gameplay in the deciding game, with players Skiter and Nine leading the charge with their outstanding performance.

Despite trailing behind for a significant portion of game five, Tundra Esports showcased patience and strategic prowess, seizing key opportunities to secure a 3-2 victory.

With this victory, Tundra Esports claimed the grand prize of $175,000 and established themselves as one of the top teams in Europe. As they just missed qualifying for TI10 and with no other Majors announced until October, Tundra Esports still has ample time to compete in other tournaments and further solidify their reputation.
