TNC Pro Team Releases ryOyr and Signs 1437

TNC Pro Team Adds North American Dota 2 Veteran 1437 to Roster

Theeban “1437” Siva, a veteran player in the North American Dota 2 scene, has officially joined the Philippine-based TNC Pro Team, according to the organization’s announcement today.

The move comes during the final week of post-Kiev Major player shuffling. 1437, who recently left Team NP, has been playing professional Dota 2 since The International 2011 and has competed for various North American organizations. He has had two coaching stints with Team Secret. This will be the first time he plays for a non-North American team.

TNC Pro Team’s Rise to Prominence

TNC Pro Team, sponsored by TheNet.com, a Philippine chain of LAN cafes, has been competing in Dota 2 since 2013. However, they gained recognition after an impressive performance at The International 6, where they defeated top Western team OG and finished in sixth place. After TI6, several players, including Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho, left TNC Pro Team for Fnatic, a better-funded Malaysian organization. The original roster, minus DeMoN, reunited under the TNC Pro Team banner in early 2017.

1437 to Replace Ryo “ryOyr” Hasegawa as Captain

Siva will not only join TNC Pro Team as a player but also as their new captain. He will be replacing hard support player Ryo “ryOyr” Hasegawa, who joined the team during the post-International roster shuffle last September. It is unclear which team ryOyr will join next.

TNC Pro Team also confirmed that their statsperson, Murielle “Kips” Huisman, will continue to be a part of the team.
