TNC Predator fails to advance, misses third round of DPC tournaments

TNC Predator Eliminated from Dota 2 Qualifiers

The Southeast Asian giants, TNC Predator, have been eliminated from the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor qualifiers. They lost to Reality Rift in their second hurdle, missing out on a chance to attend the Minor and the ESL One Los Angeles Major.

Unfortunately, not making it past this stage means that TNC Predator won’t have an opportunity to compete in the major tournament. The winner of the Minor receives a slot in the Major, and TNC Predator won’t be able to claim that spot.

In their series against Reality Rift, TNC Predator relied on their tried-and-tested Morphling-Earthshaker strategy. Despite both heroes being nerfed and losing their dominance in the meta, TNC Predator still excels at using this combo. However, Reality Rift’s player, Ravdan “Hustla” Narmandakh, delivered an exceptional performance on Skywrath Mage, eliminating the Major champions.

Although the loss is disappointing, TNC Predator’s previous success secures their participation in The International 2020. They currently top the Dota Pro Circuit rankings but may be overtaken after the LA Major.

The Perfect Time for TNC Predator to Rest

With Vici Gaming also skipping the LA Major, TNC Predator has the opportunity to take a break. Following in the footsteps of OG, teams often take a rest during the season after winning The International. This break could result in a stronger and better-performing TNC Predator.
