TNC Predator Wins ESL One Hamburg 2019 in Epic Comeback
TNC Predator emerged victorious in a thrilling Dota 2 series against Gambit Esports to clinch the first-place finish at ESL One Hamburg. Despite a rocky start, TNC Predator showed resilience and determination to secure the win.
Gambit’s Journey to the Grand Finals
Gambit Esports had to battle through Alliance to secure their spot in the grand finals. After two quick wins for each team, Gambit survived a grueling third game. With their confidence boosted after defeating one of the early favorites, Gambit was ready to face TNC.
The Revenge Story Begins
Unfortunately for Gambit, the revenge story didn’t kick off on a positive note. TNC dominated the match, shutting down Gambit’s players and securing a 23-minute victory.
Gambit Fights Back
Undeterred by their previous loss, Gambit regrouped and rallied behind their players gpk and dream`, who displayed extraordinary skill on Ember Spirit and Gyrocopter. This strategic shift helped Gambit turn the tables and gain an advantage.
With the series tied at 1-1, TNC changed their focus to Armel’s Templar Assassin. Thanks to exceptional gameplay from Tims and the rest of the team, TNC was able to regain control and secure a victory.
Facing elimination, Gambit once again relied on dream` and gpk, who dominated with Lifestealer and Lina. Supported by Kunkka and Mirana, Gambit dismantled TNC in teamfights.
In the final game, Gambit seemed to have the upper hand with their lineup. However, TNC surprised everyone by choosing Armel’s Alchemist and Gabbi’s Bristleback. TNC’s unconventional picks proved to be successful, and they steamrolled their way to victory.
In an exciting finale, TNC emerged as the champions, claiming their first LAN event trophy of the season. Gambit showcased their skills and proved that their qualification for the MDL Chengdu Major was well-deserved.
