Team Aster Falls to paiN Gaming in ESL One Hamburg
Team Aster, despite dominating the group stage and putting up a tough fight against Vici Gaming in the upper bracket, was taken down by paiN Gaming. The first game between Aster and paiN was closely contested, with Aster eventually securing a victory after 52 minutes. However, paiN Gaming quickly bounced back in the second game, winning in less than 24 minutes. Game three was no different, with paiN Gaming maintaining their dominance. The defeat eliminated Aster from the competition.
After paiN Gaming’s victory over Aster, they faced off against Team Secret. In the first game, Team Secret had an answer to every move made by paiN Gaming, leading to a swift victory in just 17 minutes. Despite trying a different approach in game two, paiN Gaming couldn’t overcome Team Secret’s dominance and suffered a 2-0 sweep. Team Secret will now play Virtus Pro in the lower bracket finals.
