The Chongqing Major’s 15 regional qualifier teams have been finalized

The remaining spots for the Chongqing Major have been filled after the conclusion of the regional qualifiers in North America, South America, China, and Europe. NoPangolier, Virtus Pro, Fnatic, and TNC Predator have all qualified for the second Major of the Dota 2 season in their respective regions. Only one spot remains to be filled by the winner of the upcoming Bucharest Minor.

In the South American qualifier, paiN Gaming and test 123 initially qualified, but test 123 was later disqualified by Valve for breaking the rules. As a result, Thunder Predator took their spot. In China, Team Aster and Vici Gaming qualified as the top two teams. LGD Gaming secured the third spot by defeating EHOME in the third-place match. In Europe, Team Secret secured the top seed, while Team Liquid and Alliance took the second and third seeds respectively. In North America, J. Storm claimed the top seed, followed by Forward Gaming and Evil Geniuses.

The Chongqing Major is set to take place from January 19 to 27, with the winner receiving a share of the $1 million prize pool and DPC points.
