The 2021 International Compendium launches with revamped item sets, refreshed Talent Autographs, and additional updates

The International 10: Valve Launches New Compendium and Talent Autographs

The highly anticipated International 10 is only a week away, and teams from around the world are gearing up for a chance to win the prestigious Aegis of Champions in Dota 2. To celebrate this monumental event, Valve is releasing The International Compendium, offering rewards and a way to support casters and talent.

The International Compendium and Rewards

The TI Compendium, like in previous years, provides an interactive experience in the Dota 2 client. Fans can earn points and various rewards, including the exclusive The International 2021 Lineage Treasure. This reward set showcases nine hero sets, redesigned to match the Compendium’s black and gold color scheme. These sets will only be available until the end of TI10.

Collecting Compendium Points can be done through several methods, such as participating in fantasy and prediction competitions. Here are the ways you can earn points:

  • Tournament Predictions: Guess which heroes will be popular and which players will have the most kills. Earn points for each correct prediction.
  • Player Card rosters: Create your team using collectible Player Cards and earn points based on your team’s performance.
  • Daily Fantasy lineups: Take part in daily fantasy events in the Dota 2 client. Earn Compendium Points for placing in the top percentages and receive bonuses for exceptional performances throughout the entire event.
  • Main Event Bracket Predictions: Fill out your bracket predictions for the main event after the group stage concludes. Earn Compendium Points based on your correct prediction percentage.
  • In-Game Predictions: Watch live group stage and main event matches to participate in in-game predictions, earning up to 600 Compendium Points per day.
  • Join a Supporter’s Club: Become a supporter for your favorite team and earn 200 Compendium Points for each match they win, up to a maximum of 10,000 points.

Talent Autographs: Support Your Favorite Casters and Talent

Valve is introducing 2021 Talent Autographs for players to support their beloved casters and talent. By purchasing an item bundle, players can own an autographed item featuring a talent’s picture and signature, which can be displayed on their player profile. Additionally, fans can unlock more rewards by leveling up their autograph bundle, including custom chat wheel lines at level five, inspired by each talent. 50% of the sales from these bundles directly support the respective talents.

Other Updates

Alongside these exciting additions, Valve has launched a new website for The International, where fans can watch live matches, view VODs, check standings, and more. Official Spanish and Portuguese broadcasts for TI10 have also been announced. Players can find all the new changes in the Dota 2 client and even vote on the winner of the annual TI10 Short Film Contest, with a $25,000 prize for the winning film.
