Valve just released the list of teams qualified for Ti13 – The International 2024. The world’s largest Dota 2 event will have a new format this year, with some old school direct invitations replacing the prior stringent qualifier procedure. Valve also removed the qualifying dates, teams, and the entire format of TI13.
The International 2024: Dates and Format
The gigantic event of TI13 will be divided into two parts: The Road to the International and The International. A familiar format used in TI12. The Road to the International includes the full qualifier stage, including the Group Stage and the first phase of the Playoffs, which will play place in a LAN studio setup.
The International will only truly begin when the last eight teams face off live in front of an audience at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena. This will take place from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15th. Fans who want to watch the event live can get tickets on June 10th.
Teams Qualified For TI13
Valve provided a list of (obvious) direct invites for TI13. These clubs have undoubtedly dominated the first half of 2024 with steady results. Teams invited to The International 2024 include Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, and BetBoom Team.
