This move was spearheaded by JJ Lin, a Singaporean singer and founder of Team Still Moving under Gunfire (SMG), who is a passionate Dota 2 fan. According to Lin, “Dota 2 is a game I’ve been passionate about since I was a kid. Today we finally bring it to the professional level by announcing the Team SMG Dota 2 division, game on!”

Originally focused on Arena of Valor, Team SMG has expanded into other esports titles such as PUBG, Mobile Legends, and now Dota.

Strong Players Join Forces in Team SMG’s Dota 2 Division

Mushi, a legendary player, will finally have a stable team environment after spending the last two years bouncing between teams. Ninjaboogie, who previously played for Mineski and had a brief stint with 032, will reunite with Mushi for the upcoming qualifiers. Cheng “vtFαded” Jia Hao, who showed promise in late 2018 with Geek Fam, will join Mushi in this new venture. Tue “ah fu” Chuan, known for his exceptional performance at TI7, and Muhammad “Neah666” Bin Jamil, a wildcard player in the SEA scene, complete the talented roster of Team SMG’s Dota 2 division.
