Team Secret dominates PSG.LGD in a one-sided TI11 sweep

Team Secret Dominates PSG.LGD at TI11

Team Secret is on a roll at The International 11 (TI11) as they sweep PSG.LGD in a dominant performance. The European team showcased their momentum and skill, putting PSG.LGD on the backfoot and pushing them into the lower bracket with a 2-0 victory.

In the first game, Secret secured a quick 23-minute win, shutting down NothingToSay and Ame while Nisha’s Leshrac and Crystallis’ Dawnbreaker wreaked havoc. Resolut1on also impressed with his debut on Silencer on Dota’s biggest stage.

The second game saw a stronger fight from LGD, with both teams trading kills and leading for the first 25 minutes. However, Secret’s Leshrac/Dawnbreaker core and strategic initiations proved too much for LGD to handle, resulting in a clean sweep for the EU squad.

This impressive performance by Team Secret highlights the importance of their Last Chance Qualifier warm-up strategies. Puppey and his team have found themselves in a winning groove, unafraid to employ unconventional plans that give them an edge.

With this victory, Team Secret secures a top-six finish at TI11, making it Puppey’s third consecutive season leading the organization to at least the top six. If they can defeat Thunder Awaken in the next round, they will secure a top-three finish for the second year in a row.

On the other hand, PSG.LGD’s defeat sends them down to the lower bracket at TI for the first time since TI9. They had previously reached the grand finals via the upper bracket at TI10.
