Team Liquid emerged as the top team at MDL Macau 2019 after a series of intense matches. They dominated the placement round with a 3-1 record, securing a 5-2 overall standing in the event. Their only loss came from a close match against second-seed team Vici Gaming.
To regain momentum for the main event, Liquid faced off against Royal Never Give Up in a well-executed series. They strategically won the first game and dominated the second with strong gameplay from Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi.
