Team Empire Signs Dota 2 Veteran Ghostik to Lead Their Lineup

Today, Team Empire announced the signing of veteran player Andrii “Ghostik” Kadyk to lead their Dota 2 lineup. Ghostik, who was a key player in the team’s run at TI7, has been playing for various CIS squads since leaving Empire in 2018.

The History of Team Empire in Dota 2

Team Empire has been a prominent name in the Dota 2 scene since late 2012. The organization has put together impressive rosters that have achieved great success, including a seventh-place finish at The International 2017.

Changes in Empire’s Roster

In addition to signing Ghostik, Team Empire has made other changes to their roster. Alexander “lightless” Potapenko, who was previously on Empire’s inactive roster, has returned to the team. Sergey “[T]SA” Timchenko, a former B8 player, has also joined the team, along with Vitaly “Mannik” Brezgin and Oleh “Kaori” Medvedok.

Upcoming Challenges for Team Empire

Team Empire will have the opportunity to compete and build teamwork at events like the Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season Five before the next Dota Pro Circuit season.
