Team Aster puts 4 players under quarantine following contact with a confirmed coronavirus case

Team Aster Players Quarantined After COVID-19 Exposure

Team Aster, the Dota 2 team, has quarantined four of its players after being informed that one of the passengers on their connecting flight tested positive for the coronavirus. The team had been in Kyiv, Ukraine, following their victory at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor season three. They were attempting to secure travel visas for the ESL One Los Angeles Major, which was eventually postponed due to the coronavirus. The players took separate flights back to China, but due to their close proximity to the infected passenger, four of them have been quarantined as a precaution.

Staying Safe and Isolated

The four quarantined players, Kee “ChYuan” Ng, Lin “Xxs” Jing, Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao, and team captain Fade, are currently isolated in a designated center. While they expect to be released at the end of the week, they plan to continue isolating themselves as a safety measure even after their release. ChYuan assured fans that the team has been taking necessary safety precautions during their travels.

Continuing Competitions

Aster is still expected to compete in the Chinese Dota 2 Professional Association alongside other top teams. The competition begins on April 1, and the team hopes to be out of quarantine by then. This will give them the opportunity to continue playing professional Dota while still taking precautions to ensure their safety.
