T1 Successor: Bleed Esports Reveals Inaugural Dota 2 Roster for 2023 DPC

Newcomer Bleed Esports Introduces Youthful Roster to the Dota 2 Scene

Bleed Esports, a new rising star in the Dota 2 scene, has unveiled a roster that combines young talent with seasoned experience.

The organization began working on this roster on November 11, when it announced its entry into Dota 2 and enlisted analyst and caster Sean “Hades” Goh to scout talent in Southeast Asia. The results of their scouting efforts are evident, as two relatively new players have joined the team.

Bleed Esports Reveals Its Dota 2 Lineup

After acquiring T1’s slot in Division I of the SEA Dota Pro Circuit, Bleed Esports has placed its bets on the leadership of head coach Forev and DuBu, along with the explosive skills of JaCkky, to balance out their investments in mostly unproven talent. T1, the larger organization, will temporarily exit the Dota scene.

SEA Dota Scene Veterans Join the Squad

DuBu has returned to the SEA region after spending three years playing in North America, with his most recent stint on TSM ending after The International 11. JaCkky, on the other hand, left BOOM Esports after a respectable performance at TI11 and is now set to be the focal point of Bleed Esports’ new roster.

Other Notable Players Join the Ranks

Prieme “PlayHard” Banquil brings a wealth of experience, having played for various teams in SEA since late 2014. He is best known for his multiple stints with Neon Esports and Geek Gam over the past five years.

Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee is a relatively new addition to the SEA scene, having made his breakthrough with Motivate.Trust Gaming in February 2020 before being signed by Fnatic. While his performance declined in the 2022 season, he has displayed potential as a versatile offlaner in the right circumstances.

A Rising Star in the Making

Kordan may be unknown to casual viewers of the professional scene, but he is a force to be reckoned with in SEA pubs and frequently ranks in the top 10 within the region. Bleed Esports hopes that his debut in Division I matches will help shape him into a formidable player for years to come.

Preparing for the Winter Tour

Thanks to their acquisition of T1’s slot, Bleed Esports will have around a month to boot camp and prepare for the start of the 2023 DPC’s Winter Tour in early January, bypassing the need for qualifiers. Now, it’s just a matter of seeing how well the team gels in the early stages.
