T1 Dominantly Sweep Alliance, Ending Their Run at The International 10

T1 Sweeps Alliance in The International 10 Lower Bracket

The teams dropping to the lower bracket at The International 10 have been proving that they are not to be underestimated. T1 continued this trend by eliminating Alliance with a convincing 2-0 sweep.

The first game showcased an outstanding performance from 23savage and Karl as they dominated Alliance. Both players had 13 kills each, matching the entire kill count of the European team. T1 effectively shut down Limmp and Nikobaby, rendering their offensive strategies ineffective. Even Nikobaby’s Morphling, known for being a game-changing presence, couldn’t make an impact.

In the second game, T1 continued their dominant performance. Karl on Ember Spirit wreaked havoc against a struggling Alliance. Despite Alliance’s attempts to bounce back, T1 shut down both Limmp and Nikobaby, preventing them from gaining any kills with their Medusa pick.

Karl finished the game with an impressive 18/2/18 score and dealt 36.6k hero damage. Supported by 23savage’s Slark, T1 drafted a formidable lineup that made Alliance’s heroes disappear after 15 minutes. T1 secured a comfortable 44-15 kill lead, advancing to the third round of the lower bracket.

T1 will face the winner of Evil Geniuses and Vici Gaming in the next round, while Alliance is eliminated with a tie for ninth place. This is an improvement for Alliance compared to their performance in last year’s TI9, where they finished tied-13th.
