T1 Drops Sam_H and Poloson from Dota 2 Roster
T1 continues to shake up its Dota 2 roster, parting ways with Samson “Sam_H” Hidalgo and Wilson “Poloson” Chin Wei. This move comes as the sixth roster change by the organization in the past six months. T1 had recently added Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong and Kenny “Xepher” Deo to the team at the end of November.
Since its formation in August, T1 has had a total of 15 players on its roster, including the latest additions. Before his release, Poloson had been the team’s longest-tenured player, having joined in May during the first roster shuffle. Sam_H joined the team in August.
T1 expressed gratitude for the contributions of Poloson and Sam_H in a tweet, wishing them the best in their future endeavors.
In 2020, T1 has not achieved consistent success. However, the team did manage a third-place finish at the Beyond the Summit Pro Series season four, showcasing the potential of former Geek Fam standout Karl Jayme as their leader.
With the Dota Pro Circuit scheduled to restart on January 18, T1 now aims to finalize its roster around Karl, JaCkky, Xepher, and head coach Park “March” Tae-won.
