SumaiL declares Yatoro as the top carry in Dota 2, with Miracle closely following

The International 2023: OG’s Coverage Hub Features SumaiL’s Tier List

OG’s coverage hub for Dota 2’s The International 2023 is back, and this time, they kicked off the stream with a special guest, former TI winner SumaiL Hassan. The legendary mid-laner settled an ongoing debate about the best carry player in Dota 2 in 2023.

The announcement of SumaiL’s appearance was first made on Gorgc’s Twitter account. Finally, on the stream, Sumail revealed his rankings for the best carry player in Dota 2.

According to SumaiL’s tier list, Team Spirit’s Yatoro claimed the top spot. Despite taking a season off, Miracle- also received recognition as the best hybrid carry player.

Miracle’s rankings have sparked debates in the OG Dota 2 hub. With Gorgc’s fans being big supporters of Miracle, his name often comes up when discussing the best mid or carry player currently.

During a previous debate about the best performing carry player, Gorgc mentioned that he believes Nightfall is better than Yatoro. This statement received criticism from the community and even Yatoro himself, as Nightfall didn’t play in the same position as Yatoro for almost half of the year.

This debate can easily change shape based on various factors like statistics and personal preference, even after a single tournament. Currently, Yatoro’s Team Spirit has advanced to TI 2023’s upper bracket semi-finals, while Nightfall’s BetBoom Team will have to fight against KStars in the lower bracket to stay in the tournament.

Although it has been a while since fans saw Miracle in a prime-time event, his legacy lives on as his name always comes up when discussing the best core player.
