SEA Squad: Xtreme Gaming finalizes Dota 2 lineup featuring 2 talented Malaysians

Xtreme Gaming Completes Roster with New Additions

In the midst of the ongoing Dota 2 roster shuffle, Xtreme Gaming has made some significant changes to their lineup. The Chinese Dota 2 organization has recently welcomed Daniel “Ghost” Chan and Thiay “JT-” Jun Wen to their team in a bid to secure the top spot in the upcoming 2023 Dota Pro Circuit.

Xtreme Gaming had a challenging season in 2022, despite having star player Paparazi on their roster. The team often found themselves falling behind their local competitors.

In the Last Chance Qualifiers of The International 2022, Xtreme Gaming made a decent start but ultimately fell short before reaching the final four. This meant that their season came to an end even before the highly prestigious Dota 2 event began.

As a result of the team’s unfulfilled expectations, roster changes were inevitable. Yesterday, Wang “J” Wenjun and Sun “Srf” Runfa, who previously held the positions of position one and position three for Xtreme Gaming, were moved to the inactive roster. Meanwhile, Lou “lou” Zhen and Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei parted ways with the team at the end of November.

With the addition of two new members to their roster, Xtreme Gaming is determined to accumulate as many DPC points as possible in order to secure a direct invite to The International, avoiding the need to go through the qualifiers.

Teams from all corners of the globe are currently finalizing their rosters before the roster lock date. Open qualifiers for each region will commence on December 11, with division one action starting on January 9.
