SabeRLighT to Substitute for Team Entity at Arlington Dota 2 Major

TSM offlaner SabeRLighT Joins Team Entity for Arlington Major

TSM offlaner SabeRLighT has been confirmed to join Team Entity for the upcoming Arlington Major. Due to visa issues, Entity’s carry player, Pure, had his visa application denied, leaving the team in need of a replacement.

Pure had previously mentioned the possibility of not being able to attend the tournament on July 25. Initially, it was planned for TSM’s carry player, Timado, to stand in for him. However, last-minute changes led to the decision of bringing in SabeRLighT instead.

Fishman, Entity’s position five player, confirmed on his Telegram channel that SabeRLighT would be joining the team for the Arlington Major. While SabeRLighT has been instrumental to TSM’s success and their path to the International 2022, he is primarily known for playing as a position three throughout his competitive Dota 2 career.

Transitioning roles can be challenging, especially during prestigious tournaments like the Arlington Major. However, competitive players usually have a good understanding of how to play multiple roles.

Entity is not the only team facing substitution challenges. Fnatic will also have to play with three substitutes due to visa issues, while Xtreme Gaming had to withdraw from the tournament altogether.

The Arlington Major is set to begin on August 4, and there are still teams struggling to finalize their travel arrangements. Valve has allowed teams to use stand-ins, but the pool of available substitute players will continue to shrink as more players are unable to attend the event.
