SabeRLight replaces SumaiL in Quincy Crew at Dota Summit 11

Quincy Crew Adds Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek as Offlaner

Syed “SumaiL” Hassan has parted ways with Quincy Crew just weeks after the team qualified for the Dota Summit 11 Minor. With little time to find a replacement, the team has recruited Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek to fill in as the offlaner on a trial basis. SabeRLight- previously played for Team Singularity but was moved to their inactive roster when they failed to qualify for upcoming Dota Pro Circuit events.

According to Quincy Crew’s manager, Jack “KBBQ” Chen, SabeRLight- is a good fit for the team and will help them progress, at least in the short term. The team expressed gratitude to Team Singularity for loaning them this talented young player.

Although SabeRLight- may not have the same playstyle or draw attention like SumaiL did, the team’s synergy will compensate for any differences. However, players like Yawar “YawaR” Hassan and Quinn “CCnC” Callahan will need to step up their game.

SumaiL’s departure will now allow YawaR to return to his position one role, while SabeRLight- takes over as the offlaner. This adjustment will address the team’s previous fit issues.

The Dota Summit 11 will feature strong teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas and Invictus Gaming. Quincy Crew made it a priority to find a stand-in early so they could integrate him into the team’s plans over the next three weeks.

Dota Summit 11, which marks the beginning of the DPC season, starts on November 7. The winner of the Minor will earn a spot in the MDL Chengdu Major later in the month.
