StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 Qualifiers Conclude for SL LAN Finals

The StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 qualifiers have finished, confirming seven of the eight teams that will compete in the SL LAN finals in Shanghai, China at the end of the month.

The defending champions, Wings Gaming, received a direct invitation to the tournament while the remaining direct invite team is yet to be determined.

In the Chinese region, Team VG.J and iG Vitality emerged as the two qualifying teams. VG.J went undefeated in the group stage and won all their games in the bracket stage, while Vitality finished second in their group but had a strong performance in the bracket stage with a 6-1 record.

TNC Pro Team will be representing the Southeast Asian region, having finished with a 5-1-1 record in the eight-team round robin, only losing to Team Faceless.

Team Liquid and Team Secret have secured the European spots in the upcoming tournament. Liquid had a flawless performance in the group stage with a 4-3-0 record, while Secret lost to Liquid and tied with Natus Vincere and Horde.

In the American region, Digital Chaos and Team NP were the final two teams competing for a spot in the finals. After several matches, including a tiebreaker best-of-one match, Digital Chaos emerged as the winner, thanks to Resolut1on’s impressive performance.
