The Gaimin Gladiators are the team to beat at TI 2023. With multiple major wins and an impressive record in the Dota Pro Circuit, they have established themselves as the frontrunners. If they emerge victorious, it will be the most successful year for a single team in Dota history. However, they must be careful of the dreaded “TI Curse” that has plagued previous favorites.

These contenders have the experience and skill to challenge the favorites and make their mark at TI 2023.

These teams find themselves in the middle of the pack, looking for an opportunity to move up. BetBoom Team and Talon Esports have shown promise but need to prove themselves at a major event like TI. Evil Geniuses and beastcoast, representing South America, have their sights set on another Aegis win. TSM surprised everyone with a deep run in a recent tournament, while PSG Quest and Entity fought hard in their respective regional qualifiers. Azure Ray represents the former Eastern Dota powerhouse and has talented players who can make an impact.

TI 2023: Underdogs

These teams may be considered underdogs, but they have the potential to make a mark at TI 2023. Thunder Awaken, Keyd Stars, and Nouns have had limited exposure to top-tier competition, so it will be a true test for them. Team SMG, despite visa issues for one of their players, has experienced members who have competed at previous TIs. Virtus Pro showed promise in their first-tier appearance but will face tough competition.

The stage is set for TI 2023, and the competition will be fierce. Who will rise to the top and claim the Aegis of Champions? Stay tuned for the epic battles that await us in the coming weeks at the Climate Pledge Arena.
