Quinn replaces SabeRLighT as stand-in for TSM at Dota Pro Circuit Stockholm Major

TSM Announces Stand-In for Dota Pro Circuit Spring Tour Major

TSM has revealed that Quinn will be their stand-in player for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit Spring Tour Major in North America. This decision comes after TSM’s original player, SabeRLighT, tested positive for COVID-19 while boot camping in Poland.

Quinn Steps in for TSM During Major

TSM’s choice to have Quinn as their stand-in for the major is quite surprising, considering the entire team had traveled to Europe and was prepared to compete. However, due to SabeRLighT’s positive test, TSM decided to take the situation seriously and asked Quinn to fill in until their player recovers.

TSM expressed their gratitude towards Quinn and the Quincy Crew for their assistance on short notice. They hope that SabeRLighT will test negative and join the team as soon as he recovers.

Stand-Ins for Other Teams

TSM is not the only team dealing with stand-ins for the major. OG had to replace their captain and coach due to visa issues, while Mind Games is playing with support players from PuckChamp. These changes highlight the challenges faced by teams in organizing international tournaments during these uncertain times.

TSM will be competing in Group B of the tournament, facing tough opponents such as Team Spirit, Team Liquid, and Fnatic. The competition kicks off on May 12.
