Quincy Crew surprises Evil Geniuses at ESL One Los Angeles Online

Quincy Crew Scores Big Win Over Evil Geniuses in ESL One Los Angeles Online

The opening day of ESL One Los Angeles Online saw the recently reformed Quincy Crew secure a major victory against Evil Geniuses in Dota 2. Both teams were dealing with changes within their organizations, with Quincy Crew being released by Chaos Esports Club and EG playing with stand-ins due to travel restrictions caused by the pandemic.

Despite being in a transitional period, Quincy Crew’s practiced and cohesive roster gave them the edge. EG managed to secure a huge win in the first game, but Quincy Crew bounced back and warmed up as the series progressed.

In game one, CCnC’s Void Spirit was contained by EG, leading to Arteezy’s dominant performance on Terrorblade, supported by Ryoya’s Puck. However, Quincy Crew retaliated in game two with a strong offensive led by YawaR’s Slark and CCnC’s Storm Spirit. They tied the series by winning in under 30 minutes.

In the final game, Quincy Crew showcased a beautiful team game with YawaR dealing massive damage as Medusa. CCnC’s Monkey King and MSS’ Timbersaw provided control, while EG struggled to find opportunities to engage. Quincy Crew emerged victorious, securing a 2-1 series win.

Quincy Crew’s next match is against business associates on March 31. They currently hold a 1-0 record after their win against EG.
