Quincy Crew Crowned North American Champions of Dota 2

Quincy Crew emerged as the North American champions of the ESL One Birmingham Online Dota 2 tournament after a dominant performance. They only dropped a single series throughout the tournament and secured the title against a formidable CR4ZY roster.

In the grand finals, Quincy Crew completed a back-to-back sweep, defeating CR4ZY 3-0 after knocking them into the lower bracket earlier in the week. The victory marked a turning point for QC as they overcame other top teams like Evil Geniuses and beastcoast.

Implementing Lelis as a stand-in proved to be a successful move for Quincy Crew. Lelis, who has been standing in for various teams like beastcoast and EG, played a strong position three and was a key factor in QC’s title run while Biver took a break from competitive Dota 2.

CR4ZY put up a fight, but Quincy Crew remained in control throughout the series. Game one was particularly ugly for CR4ZY as Yawar and Lelis dominated with a Spectre and Death Prophet combo. Although there was a brief moment in game three where CR4ZY had a chance to turn the tide, Quincy Crew won a crucial teamfight and swung the game in their favor.

The tournament win is significant for Quincy Crew as it is their first since reforming to compete this season. Lelis was voted the NA Mercedes Benz MVP for his stellar performance, raising the possibility of a more permanent partnership with QC in the future.

Congratulations to Quincy Crew on their impressive victory!
