PaiN Gaming recruits MiSeRy as coach for upcoming TI8

Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen Joins paiN Gaming as TI8 Coach

Renowned Dota 2 player Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen has signed with Brazilian team paiN Gaming as their official coach for The International 8 (TI8).

paiN Gaming announced the signing on their official Facebook page, along with a video montage of MiSeRy’s achievements, including his memorable run with Digital Chaos at TI6.

MiSeRy was last playing for BlinkPool, a team he co-founded with former Digital Chaos teammate Martin “Saksa” Sazdov. However, after a disappointing campaign at ESL One Birmingham, MiSeRy was released by Evil Geniuses, for whom he played the hard support role earlier this year.

Following BlinkPool’s failure to qualify for TI8, MiSeRy left the team and joined paiN Gaming as their coach, reuniting with another ex-Digital Chaos player, Aliwi “w33” Omar.

With MiSeRy providing guidance and strategy in the drafting phase, paiN Gaming, considered underdogs for TI8, will greatly benefit from his experience and game sense. This could potentially lead to unexpected victories for the Brazilian team.

There is still ample time for MiSeRy to work with the team and make an impact before the TI8 group stage kicks off in four weeks.
