OG Completely Revamps Dota 2 Roster with Misha, Taiga, and Impressive Young Talent

OG Announces New Roster as Topson, n0tail, and Ceb Step Down

The renowned esports organization OG, known for its dominance in the competitive Dota 2 scene, is undergoing a significant change. OG’s former stars, Topson and n0tail, are taking a break from the active Dota roster, while Ceb has officially retired. This opens up opportunities for OG to sign five new players, including their former coach Misha, to represent the team in the upcoming season.

OG’s CEO, JMR Luna, expressed confidence in Misha’s leadership abilities and appointed him as the team’s new captain. Despite the departure of key players, OG remains optimistic and is determined to nurture and develop this new roster.

Welcome the New OG Roster

The new OG roster features a mix of experienced support players and promising younger talents. Tommy “Taiga” Le, an adaptable player, joins OG from SFTe-sports, where he gained recognition alongside Topson. The team also took a chance on three relatively new players, including Ammar “Ammar The F” Assaf and Bozhidar “Biziem” Bogdanov, who displayed immense potential during their time with Creepwave.

The final addition to the roster is Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev, a versatile and creative mid laner from Ukraine. OG brought him in from Team Unique due to his consistent performance on the European leaderboards and his strong drive for improvement.

A New Era for OG Dota

With the departure of their core players, OG is embarking on a new era in Dota 2. Fans who closely followed the team’s journey will not be surprised by these changes, as it has been known that Topson and n0tail had expressed their intentions to eventually step away from professional play. Ceb, who previously retired but returned to the team, has now permanently stepped down.

While OG’s objective remains to compete at the highest level and win matches, the organization is emphasizing the development of its young players. They aim to instill the OG values of disciplined practice, the right mentality, and effective communication among teammates.

N0tail will continue to work closely with the team during their bootcamp in Portugal, providing guidance and support as OG Dota enters the 2022 DPC season and embraces this new chapter.
